We're not too sure yet if we have said goodbye to Susan Boyle for good but we do know that our favourite local songstress of the moment is back at number one.

Gin Wigmore holds tight at number one on the albums chart for a second week in a row this week with her debut album 'Holy Smoke.' She's now spent a huge 19 weeks in the chart but she's obviously not planning on slowing down anytime soon.

The local top 40 chart also see's Gin's new single 'Hey Ho' debut at number 24 this week and her last single 'I Do' is sitting just below it at number 33.

The singer toured New Zealand last month but her sights are now set on the US. 'Holy Smoke' is being released stateside on March 16 and it coincides with an appearance at the prestigious SXSW showcase which includes a four-date tour with US singer-songwriter, Citizen Cope.

We can't wait to hear about Gin's travels in the US and don't forget that Bachelorette, Bang Bang Eche, David Dallas, Die! Die! Die!, Kidz In Space, Kingston, Lawrence Arabia, Miho Wada, Mr. Sicc, Steriogram, Surf City, The Brunettes, The Ruby Suns and Young Sid are all playing at SXSW this month too.

Fans of Gin can also download her song 'Golden Ship' for free from her official website www.ginwigmore.com right now.
