Soulja Boy may only be 17, but he's landing himself in a lot of adult-sized trouble lately.
First, he's been accused by a rap group, Ohio Boyz, of stealing one of their songs from their MySpace page. The Ohio Boys claim that Soulja Boy posted a message on their page around a year ago, saying he liked their music.
Now he's not only started wearing Evisu his pants backwards like they do, and calling himself S. Beezy similar to one of their own group members, T. Peezy but his new song Swag is, according to the Ohio Boyz, essentially their song.
"He basically tweaked the beat and had the exact hook. We've had the song on our page for months."
Alrhough Soulja Boy denied that he'd been copying the Ohio Boyz, saying he'd never heard of the band, it's not the first time that he's been accused of "borrowing" another artists work, style or inspiration. Several months ago, another Souljah Boy (this time with an "h") accused Soulja Boy of stealing his name, which he'd been working under for more than a decade.
But there's one piece of work Soulja Boy's not claiming. 19 year old DeAndre Ramone Way, Soulja Boy's girlfriend during periods throughout 2007, is also now claiming to be pregnant to the underage rapper.
DeAndre reportedly claimed that since she'd told him of her pregnancy, "he stopped returning my calls and texts... If I don't hear from him soon, I'm going to have to get a lawyer."
Perhaps he'd better think about changing his name to Bad Boy sometime soon.
